This is a database converter tool that converts Oracle data to Postgres SQLite.
This tool will helps transfer of data from Oracle to SQLite databases. It helps doing these transfers automatically and can be done unattended at scheduled times. If it is a regular affair, you could use settings from previous sessions and save time further. When data volume to be transferred is large, there will be time saving too. This tool is compatible to the Windows platform and will work with Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, 7, and 8. There are two ways one can collect data from the source database. You could simply identify a specific table from the source database and ask the data to be transferred to a destination table. The second method would be to harvest data through a query from the source database. Destination table will have to be specified, of course. All these settings can be done through the simple to use interface and visually.
Even the latest recruit to the IT departments should be able to master this very quickly. The interface wizard could be of further help. Once the user becomes familiar, the command line interface could be used. The program can process a batch of files at a time. This should save you time and let you gain in productivity. A progress bar is available. It indicates progress of the transfer operation; the time taken and time required to complete session are indicated. Percentage transfer completed, number of records transferred are couple of other things you get to see. This is a very good tool and can be a great help to the IT departments when frequent database transfers are to be made in an organization. If you have a need, try it out in your own set up.
